Bio
Jeff Friesen is an international award-winning photographer. He has received recognition for his work from prestigious institutions such as Photo District News, American Photo, Communication Arts, Applied Arts, Banff Centre for the Arts, Artropolis, and Photography Unlimited (Japan). In 2009 Friesen received eight honorable mentions in the International Photography Awards, making his work among the most repeatedly honored of over 23,000 entries in the contest.
Images from Jeff's first long-term project, Seeing Water, have been exhibited in Canada, the United States, Italy, and Japan. The series was selected for a solo show at the British Columbia Festival of the Arts in Vancouver.
