You may have seen the laser lights that were popular on homes this past Christmas. The set-up involves the questionable practice of aiming hundreds of tiny laser lights at your house. It looks kind of cool, if a little tacky. Someone with a gifted design sense at Butchart Gardens took these lights to a new level by aiming them upwards in the natural rainforest area of the gardens. It makes the forest seem aglow with thousands of fireflies. While I was making long exposures here the sounds of visitors gasping in awe was constant. Bravo, whoever thought this up!
